Hall (VDC Sinking/Sourcing)

Hall Sensor Switch designs use solid state technology. This allows the sensor to withstand mechanical shock better than its magnetic reed switch counterparts. Also, Hall Sensors have the ability to sense only the magnetic North pole, magnetic South pole, or either magnetic pole.

Hall Sensors are designed for DC Voltage circuits, and require power to the sensor to operate properly. They work well with small loads; for example, system input signals. We offer designs with additional circuitry, so they can switch some larger loads as well.

Small rectangular switch housing, measuring in at 0.2 x 0.3 x 0.9 inches long. Ideal for installation in small, tight spaces. Can be built with Reed or Hall Effect sub switch designs.
