MLT Switch

These switches use a glass-filled nylon housing which can be used in rugged environments.  This housing uses a Reed, Triac or Transistor sub.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:    (Top)

The most common reed only style switch typically incorporates a 100 VA reed.

The Triac style switch uses a semiconductor device in conjunction with a reed to carry higher AC loads.

The Transistor style switch uses a transistor in conjunction with a reed to carry higher DC loads.

These switches are not prone to being over-ridden by tape, mechanical intervention, dirt, or ice.  All switches are built with a UL PVC jacketed cable.  A stainless steel hose may be added for additional protection (see Options).

UL, CSA Recognized

Color-coded wires are used for easy installation.

For DC Transistor-style applications: Red Þ +DC, Black Þ -DC
