MLD Switch

This is a defeat-resistant switch.  Unlike our other switches, this one requires a coded magnet be used to activate it.

CONNECTION:    (Top)

Color-coded wires are used for easy installation.  Red & Green wires connect to the control voltage as +VDC and -VDC, respectively.  Black & White wires connect to the AC (or DC) load being switched.

CONNECTION of AC/DC Adapter:

If a DC supply voltage is not available, we offer an AC/DC adapter as an accessory to this switch.  The adapter can be powered from available AC line voltage.

Wires on the AC/DC adapter are labeled for easy connection.  Red & Green wires are for the power conversion.  The input side is connected to the AC line voltage.  The output side is Red: +VDC and Green: -VDC.  The Black & White wires simply pass through the connection of the load to be switched.  The four wires on the output side of the adapter simply match up to the four wires from the MLD switch.  So it is Red -> Red, Green -> Green, Black -> Black & White -> White.
